the halloween bash! *edit

the preparation phase

one of the most important things to do when you're having a house party, especially a HOUSE Halloween one, is that you've got to get the house looking pretty scary

and no, although just putting me in a house would be scary, it just wouldnt be enough.

i've put up the couple of 'rules' to make the next halloween a little bit easier

rule #1. get friends to help you set up
rule #2. skulls and cobwebs and gravestones are always good to make the house eeery.


one of the things we did for the decoration is to put cellophane over the lights so that it gives the eeery look


rule #3. dont ever put your hands in front of someone's crotch even if you werent actually groping them. it leads to alot of assumptions that you just wont be able to get rid of *glares at everyone who doesnt believe i wasnt groping him*
rule 4. make sure your guests know which house to go to (even though that didnt work for carolyn who ended up 5 doors down. i dont know how THAT happened when she's been to our place before :S)
rule #5. always camwhore with your friends costume before they get to put it on.


the dinner and drinks phase

we (victor, mj, jasmine, andrew, jenny, cn, isaac and i) had a nice dinner at Grilled , Melbourne Central and had heaps of compliments and stares.

jenny and cn got picked up alot on the way over where else i got nothing :( (whatta way to make a girl feel unattractive!)

victor got complimented on his costume (you'll eventually see what it is). how? someone actually thought that he got beaten up after work. HAH!

anyway, after dinner, we headed over to Cho Gao for free beers all because we were in costume (with the exception of MJ, but he paid for it dearly later on)

before we got in the girls were camwhoring and someone came up with this HUGE ass camera and took pictures of us!

we girls felt like celebrities!! :p

anyway, the doorman was such an ARSE!

he gave almost all of us shit for not having proper Aussie IDs. HELLO~? some people dont carry their PASSPORTS when they party because they might get robbed you know!

i swear, i felt SO discriminated against!

the doorman finally let us in but warned us to have proper ID the next time we went or he wouldnt let us in.

what next time?! there will never be a next time for me.

anyway, we finally got in and after a while, i had to head off to open the door for carolyn because she and ash baked us cupcakes and it would be tedious to carry it all the way to MC

i went back while the others partied and drank (apparently really horrible beer)

i went back alone on the tram where i met drag queen sarah palin and had conversations with really nice people and had a guy try to peer up my skirt.

i got back and opened the door for fly only to find she was at the wrong door. the guys called a couple of mins later saying that they were on the way back because the beer sucked.

TENSION! i think fly was in a bad mood because she got the address wrong and i sat there twiddling my thumbs willing the guys to get back NOW.

they on the other hand, camwhored their selves back to zeke's place

i have a confession

how long has it been since i last blurbed?

a little way too long.

life's been a little funny to me.

i've started to talk to isaac's ex. belle.

i used to think that she was this psychotic evil who was going to maneuver her way back into isaac's life.

i got a package in the mail from charming pieces, (i know, this WAS ages ago) and i got a few extra somethings which made me melt into a little pile of goo.

shi min was a darling to mail me an extra mobile chain and nice pair of earrings.

jessbabe was a HUGE sweetheart for buying and mailing 'i'm yours' over.

i swear, one of these days i'll post up the whole process of me opening that package and how damn happy i was (yeah, i was BEAMING)

and there's the road trip which i dont think i'll talk about and carolyn's birthday which i also dont think i'll talk about.

what i will talk about is how bryan and i went out and did a little bit of shopping for my dress for carolyn's birthday. we had to wear devil horns out the whole time so alot of people were mistaking us for a couple which was funny.

it was nice catching up with him after.. a year and 5 times (at least) of me standing him up. yeah, my memory IS that bad.

its raining now and i should be heading to sleep but i feel like i shouldnt sleep until i finish this one last lecture

sigh, halloween was a blast and then some.

and no, i didnt go as a slut or a prostitute (i admit i was very sexxxed up that night) but i went as a gothic lolita.

i spend $200 at Shibuya for that outfit and i so would go back and buy more things.

i've started to talk to my father again after falling out in my early teens.

i'm trying to fix my friendship with zan but the choices i make seem to pull us further apart.

i've got to fix me. i'm a jealous suspicious b*tch regarding isaac and i need to change that.

i've got to learn how to be more secure about us because this is not like my past. how long will i stay a prisoner to my own past that i cant even move towards the future, our future in confidence.

there are things in my past i would really love to change but by changing that i would change me and that wouldnt make me strong.

which leads me into the whole story of isaac's asshole (thank god, now ex-) housemate.

.he DIDNT DO THE DISHES AND LEFT THEM OUT FOR DAYS. we're talking about even over a week. HOW FREAKING GROSS IS THAT? oh yes, DISHES WITH FOOD IN THEM.

.he is a fat, burping, snoring arse who sits around the house and yells at the tv sexual profanities when a sexy girl is on.

.he's loud in the bathroom, and when i mean loud, i mean hearing "OH YEAH BABY!" in the bathroom. (obviously doing the *shudder* thing that should be normal but because he's such a pig is just utterly repulsive).

.HE WALKED AROUND NAKED.. and i unfortunately saw. its so utterly REPULSIVE that the THOUGHT of it makes me want to shoot myself in the head.

.he asks for massages from Cara (other female housemate) otherwise he wont do chores.

.he cant aim in the toilet. at. all.

i know i sound harsh but HE IS AN UTTER ARSE!

the 'i cannot tahan' list

inspired by a very cheese-y person.

• i cannot tahan when my fake eyelashes have too much glue on the lash bone and when i try to wash the glue out, the fake diamante things on the lash falls out.
  
• i cannot tahan when my boyfriend keeps distracting me when i blog. (but its the cannot tahan in a bad way)

therefore now i shall be happily distracted by him.

go get distracted~

weird side note

i like wearing fake eye lashes on occasion but i dont understand people who have the patience to wear it every day.

come to think of it. i dont have the patience to dress up every bloody day of the week.

i went on a 'date' with bryan the other day and he asked me why i hid my body under layers of clothings and 'blah' clothes and stuff and i shall just state that although i think i am blubbery (usually in a good way, but sometimes in not so good ways..) and i like to not worry if i look fat.

no, but seriously, i like to know that people like me because i'm a dork and messy haired and am basically a bit of a slob.

and then when i do dress up, people get a little bit of a shock. and there have been people who cant even recognize me when i dress up.

so there you go.

get off my back and dont tell me to dress up because i'll just leave dirty laundry on you.

and then we had desserts at Pancake Parlour




it wouldnt be a proper trip to pancake parlour if we didnt do this :)
