the sudden and the living

so today, a weird thing happened..

my family + zeke headed over to Springvale for some Asian lunch (god knows why my dad wanted to head over there) and after that, do some grocery shopping (ahhh, so thats why..)

and we saw this big sign "live lobsters 41.99 per KG"

i swear my eyes lit up.

anyway, bottom line is that my mother bought the 2.5kg sucker and we brought him home only to later have him chopped up into little (very messy) slices and eaten RAW.

the poor little thing was still wriggling around even without its head.

and we were morbid (and quite freaked out) to have him/her/it(?) watch us eat him/her/it.

*there aren't any pictures, and i apologize, i still need to buy myself a nice, sleek little baby- i cant decide on one!

anyway, today was also the day that we made the really rash decision to follow my parents + richie&sha (the we being zeke and i, damn, i realize most of the time now i blog using 'us' and 'we' and not 'me' or 'i' anymore) to Sydney from Wednesday till Saturday.

now, seeing that the last time i headed over to Sydney, i was around 11 years old and its pretty darn fuzzy.

zeke and i finally watched twilight and the changeling.



being a little bit of a twilight fan (which is a little bit of an understatement), i was a little disappointed with the movie.







the changeling was a really really really good movie. it wasnt really what i expected it to be and really pulled at my heart strings. i cried so many times! just the possibility of having those kind of things happen just made me depressed.

funny thing.

today before i left the house, zeke and i got into this huge insane screaming, crying, hysterical fight.

after a couple of hours we made peace and well, sealed the deal.

not being in the right state of mind, i put this on my facebook.

1. i always thought that i would end up dating someone good looking but pretty much a bloody blundering idiot even though i wanted a nice decent boy.

2. i started drinking at the age of 12. my uncle was keen on training me to have a high alcohol tolerance. (i did. and i dont anymore)

3. when i was in PLC, i ballooned to a size 14-16. conveniently hidden under the uniform.

4. before that, i was anorexic.

5. after ballooning, i was bulimic.

6. when i was younger, i went to some chinese temple where they made me drink some kind of tea which contained burnt contents of a piece of paper that had words on it.

7. after that, everynight for the next year, i would try to kill myself by jumping out the window of my parents bedroom. they always managed to stop me.

8. apparently i became more vicious after they showed me bibles- i would kick them, bite them and scratch them.

9. i can not stand the taste of beer.

10. i pierced my navel at 16 in hopes of it being an incentive to grow thinner.

11. i once got my hair braided in bali and had 64 strands..

..my sister had 32.

12. i never dared to dye my hair a really light colour because i'm scared of the regrowth.

13. alot of people think i like to party, but i actually really like to just be at home - to cuddle up on the bed and watch a movie.

14. my favorite animals are dolphins. i've swam with them twice in my life and will continue to every opportunity i get.

15. i was trained for a year at a singing academy and i really love to sing.

16. i havent been able to breathe from my nose (unless i force myself) since i was 12.

17. my right arm is shorter than my left because i broke it and shattered the end of my olecranon.

18. i didnt really want to have my nose ring (hole?) close. i miss it. sometimes.

19. i like to keep my receipts. whenever i go somewhere, i would get a receipt... that i will throw out when i am at home... eventually.

20. i cant throw anything out! i keep wrapping papers and ribbons that date back at least 4-5 years.

21. i was a child model. i had a portfolio and all that stuff. i even got free branded clothes!

22. i was scouted in KL while i was shopping and asked to join a modeling company or something.

23. i will never ever again get into that field.

24. i dieted so much when i was younger that i cannot tell when i am hungry anymore. i know when i am hungry when i get headaches, or when my stomach growls. if they dont, i wont eat because i wouldnt realize i am hungry.

i never used to understand how couples who sleep together, and not just in the sexual sense, dont actually cuddle to sleep.

obligated 40s

happy chinese new year guys!!

no, i havent fallen off the face of the earth. its just that zeke has been back and i have been working every single day at Satsuki to save up.

every moment not working, has been spent with zeke, my family, max, and random friends here and there.

oh yes, since zeke's been back, the sun has been out more often.

and i do mean that quite literally and not just in my little fantasy world/bedroom - not that i would really care whether the sun is out or not in bed.

it being summer and all, and it being australia, the summer weather has once again reached its 'obligated 40s'.

the obligated 40s is when the aussie weather decides that, hey, summer isnt summer until we hit at least 40 degres celcious.

god have mercy on all of us.

may we all not die of skin cancer.

and this week its going to be worst! the lowest temperature is mid 20s and for the remaining of the weak, the weather is going to be about 40 degs during the day.

anyway, its not really been all saving and no play, of course there's play with zeke around.

last week on friday we headed out to Doncaster Shopping Centre and i bought two new pairs of Zoe Wittners (shoes, bitches, SHOES!) , two shorts, two shirts.

a nice pair of sandals that i cant wear because they hurt but i only bought so that i will get 80% off the total price of the two shoes and a $170 pair of heels that are so SM that my mother reckons that all i need is a whip and i'll be able to whip zeke in bed. the sandals were $90. what i paid?

two tops from jayjays - $30.

two shorts- target (wow lynn, way to go, queen of cheap) which without discount totals to about $80. what i paid - $30.

anyway, when sunday came, i was all up for a break, working all week really took its toll.

so we woke up early to head to Camberwell market and then later headed to the city for the Arts and Craft market before heading off to S. Kilda for the other market.

at the Arts and Craft market in the city is awesome!~ zeke and i got this overpriced but adorable cupcake

between the market place by the beach and the arts and craft market we stopped by at some chinese new year even thing
and zeke and i couldnt help but feel sorry for the poor guy in that depressing getup.
between the market and Luna Park, there were people giving out free MIZONE and look at how fcking greedy everyone was! (zeke and me included)
we got 4 bottles :D

it being so depressingly hot, we had to have snow cones :D"ahhhh... much better~"

as i woke up a couple of days ago i felt around blindly for my phone and dialed isaac's number. (being apart like this led to the development of the 'wake up/go to sleep' rule). i was greeted with a nice sleepy (kind of sexy) husky 'good morning sweeetheart' followed by a 'i have good news and bad news'.

the night before i told zeke that he should tell his parents about him wanting to change his flight from the 8th of feb to some time next week.

he proceeded to say, "i cant get the flight that we wanted and has been changed to the 13th."

i just realized i could never really be one of those people who are uber tattooed ><

yesterday (pause..) oh my god yesterday!!

the begining was a tad bit boring- the family headed out to boxhill for some brunch at some quirky little place - no i dont remember its name, do some grocery shoppings for sushi night , take pictures for our passport applications, do the little odds and ends here and there.

the fun began when we left boxhill. we got home and our neighbors were out so we socialized and help introduce max to their new puppy - this cute little thing!

max was so humongously huge compared to the little puppy that the puppy thought that max was bullying him and yelped away -oops ><

anyway, our neighbor showed us her house and there's this huge pool there with her daughters in there swimming.

the next thing i know, their other dog - Indi - jumps right into the pool .

what really got my eyes wide and - i still cant believe it myself - Cheryl got in! we're talking fully clothed and she even shoved Hugo (her poodle) in!

the next thing was blurry because the next thing i know, i voluntarily jumped in and splashed around with the three dogs, one insanely young at heart woman, and two girls.

after a good half hour i realized - god damnit! my phone!

i screamed bloody profanities for a good 10 seconds before i realized that it wasnt with me - yeah. i scared myself to death for nothing. -_-"

i splashed around under the sun for a bit too long that sushi night was just a half hour thing before i passed out in bed at 8.30pm..

i woke up at 12am cursing myself for being such a douch for sleeping so damn early when i knew somewhere in my puny little brain that exactly this would happen.

managed to finally get back to bed at about 2am and slept till 10.30am today.

had to send dad to the airport (yin wasnt present, she had to work) and then after that, we headed to the DFO.

god damnit i still didnt get to tell dad that i'm moving in with zeke.

anyway, DFO was a dissapointment today, i didnt see anything i wanted.

got back around 2.30pm and completely crashed. again.

jebus!

i just woke up - yes at 5.30ish -

i am a big fat sleepy pig.

yes, i had to indulge in a little over the top vanity before i started to blog

anyway, every not so often, Cindy, Misha and I would try to meet up and do the customary Max Brenners.

today, we made a little detour before MB.. we headed to ChoGao's for some lunch - the $10 express lunch specials were pretty good - small portions but perfect for small eaters like us :)

sat around gossiping like the gossip queens we are and then headed off to MB
and that is just MY portion: waffle with an extra pot of chocolate and a milk chocolate :)
by the end we were so damn full we couldnt walk right.

headed to Myer's for a bit..

and then to melbourne central and then headed off..

i naturally headed to Zeke's place to check up but the second i saw his bed..

i didnt wake up till zeke called me because he was worried that i didnt reply him for HOURS.

headed back and all was fine and dandy right until i got off the train.

there was a group of really rowdy dodgy boys drinking Jack Black (yes at 7.00pm) and shouting obscene things and i got really freaked out- wouldnt you have?

one girl vs three boys who were drunk like a sailors.

its no question about who would win out.

i frooze.

thank god there was a man (in a suit) who walked me halfway back to make sure the boys didnt follow or harass me.

the books were so good that i want to buy them all (although the second and fouth books werent great - i like the the (little) romance in book 4 so i'm gonna overlook its not-so-good-ness and it would be weird if i had all the books except new moon so..)
